Due to the assist of regional professionals, alumni and employers throughout Canada, the School of Structure’s Co-op program continues to develop and thrive.
Thirty college students from all disciplinary streams secured work phrases in summer time 2022 – almost double the variety of placements from final yr. Two further work phrases commenced this fall. Jobs have been secured throughout Winnipeg, in Toronto, and with the Authorities of Nunavut in Iqaluit. 13 employers in 2022 have been first-time Co-op companions!

This summer time, college students gained hands-on expertise in constructing and landscaping, and contributed to designing and planning inexpensive city housing, infrastructure and companies for First Nations communities, and neighborhood revitalization methods. Practically 120 School of Structure college students participated in Co-op in 2021-2022. Cooperation and Partnership Growth
Launched in 2018, the School of Structure’s Cooperative Training/Built-in Work Program possibility is designed to enrich educational research with paid work expertise, enabling college students to sharpen expertise, apply data, broaden views, and think about future profession specialization.
