The small food court in the ground floor of the Oaks on Collins St is improbably busy. The stars are American sandwich maker Mason Dixon and Sri Lankan curry maker Dillies, but there is also Tastes of Senegal. I like the yassa, which is chicken with lemon and olive, a bit like a tagine, but most of all I love the mafe, a beef stew with peanut sauce. That over cous cous with beans and vegetables makes an enticing lunch on a cold working day.
