Oh Deer is a new informal Korean fusion place at the end of Royal Lane in the CBD. The bento boxes are just $11 and great value. The service was amateurish and disorganised, with the wait person required to memorise the order then enter it into a digital point of sale device that was wall mounted nearby, not mobile. She then had to double check as mistakes were made.
My friend chose rice balls, pork bulgogi and gyoza, while I chose spicy chicken bulgogi, rice and a big cheese korokke, which was a kind of big croquette filled with mashed potato and a centre of cheese. Oh Deer is recommended if you’re out and about in the city; it’s tasty and fun. Just make sure they get your order right.
