This appeared recently on Webb St near the corner of Smith St. It’s by someone calling themselves Tenet. An image search suggests it is based on an image of Attila the Hun from the Nuremberg Chronicle of 1493. Interpretations please?

Members of the hoi polloi (including yours truly) would note the red sash… indicative of the Essendon Football Club. Perhaps the paster-upper is riffing on EFC’s recent trials and their ‘I’m too good for this place” arrogance. Still further, as an example, that illustrates to all that ‘pride comes before a fall.’

Ah, interesting. I do not follow sportball so that would never have occurred to me!

Someone who irritates you or who clearly does the wrong thing is your teacher – not by imitation but by avoidance. Rather than being angry or hurt, try to let go of any personal reaction to their behaviour (it is about them, anyway, not about you) and instead be grateful that you had an opportunity to learn something. If you can do this, you will not only be a little wiser but much happier!
