Another complete lack of surprises here. Someone tries to turn their hipster hobby into a business and wonders why the rest of the world doesn’t care. Cosmetic Kitchen looked rather amateurish and simply didn’t inspire anyone to enter. Nevermind the competition from the similar Perfect Potion, which opened at around the same time a few doors north. Just like the two craft beer bars that opened side by side on Smith St, or the two froyo shops on Brunswick St, there’s not enough customers to support both (or either).

      I doubt it, but I’m not in the target demographic. I just notice when places are always empty when I walk by.
