My time working southside is soon to be over, as my contact is nearly complete, and my lunches in the area will soon cease. It’s also been some time since my last post in this series. This may be the last bunch I write up as in recent days I have been revisiting favourites in a kind of farewell tour.
The Woods of Windsor, a bar on Chapel St in Windsor, recently started opening for lunch and has excellent hot sandwiches, like this hot beef and horseradish sandwich.
On Carlisle St in Balaclava, the moroccan chicken wrap at Ziggy’s is also worth trying. It’s been fun working somewhere that is outside my regular social boundaries as I have been able to explore and observe in detail. I hope my next job provides me somewhere equally interesting to lunch in!
