This 1964 photo, taken from the stairs at the front of the Town Hall, shows the view opposite along Napier St between Moor St and Condell St. Like some of the other then and now photo posts I’ve done recently, the major changes are to the cars and the street trees.

    The paint job on the Napier Hotel is really different now. It looks like you used to be able to see the brickwork in the 1960s…
