My first experience of lunch at Soul Soup cafe was outstanding. A large steaming hot bowl of goulash soup, full of minced meat and vegetables, was delivered to my table along with some fresh Turkish bread. It was hot enough that it had to be eaten slowly, and each mouthful was a pleasure. This cute little place seems popular with students and workers but strangely has not been featured in any food blogs until now, though That’s Melbourne has profiled it. At only $6.90 for a satisfying lunch, I think I will become a regular.
