The Unexpected Passage of Time Within a Confined Space is a new play being performed by Tom Browne, Laura Hughes and Clare Phillips from Grit Theatre at the Function Room (enter through Cafe Coco 129a Smith Street, Fitzroy – next to the Copa Cabana). It opens Friday night, 21 May, and further performances are on 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29 May 2010 at 8pm. The story concerns three co-workers who enter an elevator on Friday evening and, 48 hours later, they reach the ground floor. Neandellus positively review their previous show Maelstrom, and I’m looking forward to seeing it. Book online here.
