Like a lot of people I suspect I stumbled on a new cafe on the University of Melbourne campus by accident last week and was confused by its apparent lack of a name. Nevermind, because the coffee is good. The food looks quite expensive though, and that may be a challenge to the clientele. It’s next to the 1888 building.

Smoked Salmon baguettes from there at around $7.50 aren’t too bad. Decent amount of salmon. And yeh good coffee. Easier to get a seat than 7 seeds that’s for sure.

I believe it opened just last week! As of today they now have astroturf out the front. It’s called ‘Lot 6’ apparently but the web, blog and twitter addresses listed on the menu don’t seem to exist…
