After I wrote my post yesterday naming and shaming as a content thief they removed my photo, but then Mellie at Tummy Rumbles posted a comment revealing that her photo from her review of 1000 £ Bend and on Flickr has also been stolen by I suggest you search this moron’s site to see if your own work has been stolen and if so  demand its immediate removal.

what’s even weirder is that when you follow the ‘website’ link from laptopfriendly, expecting to find the 1000 £ Bend site, it directs you to tummyrummbles’ review…

Sites like this may often be conceived of by someone who speaks English but the work is subcontracted out to India or other places and is done by Amazon Mechanical Turkers or others with low skills, low literacy and little incentive to get it right. These aspirational cretins, who style themselves as internet entrepreneurs, care only about quick and easy solutions that don’t involved quality or respecting intellectual property. Hence not understanding the difference between a cafe’s own site and a review of it.
