I’m an admirer of The Worst of Perth. It’s one of the best hyperlocal sites in Australia and perhaps the most original, with a consistent editorial focus and a satirical worldview I find very appealing. As a homage, here’s an image of an Asian statue outside a building on Johnston St. I swear it’s authentic – I did not put the bottle there.

Well you’re a smooth talking devil aren’t you? Nice shot. The Worst of Perth does frequently have guest worsts, (particularly on weekends) and my Melbourne minions often send me stuff. They missed this though. Could probably still have been VB if it was in Perth.

There’s a very nice Footscray one here.

I’m glad you appreciate the original. Insisting on original photos rather tham reposting other stuff has been very important.

Thanks! Gathering original content (taking photos and attending events etc) is hugely important. It’s easy to comment on viral content created by others, but creating original content displays a capacity for original thought and expression that distinguishes our sites.
