Melbourne’s Chinatown is bursting with fabulous places to eat. Not every restaurant in Chinatown is Chinese, however. Recently, I had a drink at the Punch Lane Wine Bar and followed by dinner at the Kri Kri Greek Restaurant, both on Little Bourke St.
Punch Lane, above, is a lovely cosy place. It’s best to get their early when it’s quiet. The best dish at Kri Kri was the char-grilled octopus, below, which is cooked and served as one piece of tentacle. This presentation is unique and the taste is delicious. We launched into the food before remembering to stop for a moment and capture it!
