I went round to the Centre for Contemporary Photography a few nights ago to look at their night show, based on a light box in a window. It’s called Pret-a-Porter ? Infrastructure Spectaculaire. It displays photos for a few seconds in an endlessly rotating sequence. Just like a screensaver really, and about as interesting. I was expecting more. I expect something more original, something surprising, and I’m not getting it. Perhaps I just don’t get it?
