The northern-most block of Brunswick St is looking more and more like a ghost town. Côté is closing. The bike shop is gone, the Bear cafe’s hybernation now looks more like the permanent closure I suspected it was, and all that’s left are specialist retailers like fetish shop Lucrezia and de Sade and the swimwear shop. And the characterless Royal Derby.

I would say the Royal Derby has a rather ‘South of the river’ character.

Surprised it lasted that long, was full over way-overpriced items and had a aesthetic that didn’t seem in fitting of Fitzroy or Brunswick st.

It’s getting increasingly difficult to tell the difference between Brunswick St and High St Armadale these days…

And ‘I know a place’, which has been there for a few years.
