On Saturday 4 April I went to the Yarra Urban Harvest homegrown food swap meet that is held on the first Saturday of every month, 10am-1pm, at the Smith Reserve on Alexandra Parade (the park next to the Fitzroy pool). I met some nice people and learned more about the event. The dates for the rest of the year are: May 2, June 6, July 4, Aug 1, Sept 5, Oct 3, Nov 4, Dec 5. If you grow anything and have surplus to swap, come along tomorrow and join in!

Hi there, Thanks for popping onto my blog. Would love to contribute to to your blog…. the last 3 post all relate to the area so I will put the tags on. Have we met at the foodswap?
    Cheers

I don’t know – the April one is the only one I came to and I can’t remember all the names of the people I met there! I will try to come again next month. Thanks for wanting to contribute to the local news blogs!
