On Saturday 21 April there was a carnival type event in Sydney’s Victoria Park – about 50 young people in bright clothes, rather like Fruits, arrived at the park and had a party.
They seemed to be having a fabulous time, and two of the women decided to walk through the lake to the centre island, which contains a large fountain. There must be a very shallow part that allows easy access, but from a distance they appeared to be magically walking on water.
I took these photos then forgot about it. Looking back on them later, they symbolise the pleasure of Sydney’s sunny autumn.
